Teams on the edge of the top 30 and those looking to climb their way from deeper in the rankings will be battling in the fifth Malta Vibes cup of the season, where $40,000 will be up for grabs. Sixteen teams in total will be in competition from July 30 - August 3, with a GSL group stage kicking off the action followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket.

Nordavind, ALTERNATE aTTaX, Illuminar, and Gambit Youngsters have won previous editions of the Malta Vibes cup, with all four squads in competition once again.

From those teams, Dmitry "⁠sh1ro⁠" Sokolov ($245,000), Sergey "⁠Ax1Le⁠" Rykhtorov ($231,000), Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević ($228,000), and Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich ($223,000) are among the highest-priced players in the game, alongside Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun ($222,000) and Dmitriy "⁠SENSEi⁠" Shvorak ($225,000) who have been impressing for AVEZ and CR4ZY, respectively. Former Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic player Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman is also available for selection in the Fantasy game, and comes in for an affordable $199,000.
